Over 20 Border Patrol agents were present at ourBRIDGE for KIDS’ east Charlotte site on Monday morning, according to a statement on Instagram, which has led the organization to shut down until further notice.
The organization urged families to stay home in the meantime, and will continue to provide family support.
ourBRIDGE for KIDS provides afterschool programming for refugee and immigrant students in east and south Charlotte.
